This is a print of one of my original Copper Repousse Plaques made in approx, 1982.
The Four Horsemen
The four horsemen are symbolic descriptions of different events which will take place in the end of times.
CONQUEST
The first horseman likely refers to the antichrist, who will be given authority and conquer all who oppose him.
WAR
The second horseman refers to terrible warfare that will break out in the end times.
FAMINE
The third horseman refers to a great famine that will take place as a result of the wars of the second horseman.
DEATH
The fourth horseman is symbolic of death and devastation. It seems to be a combination of the previous horsemen. The Fourth horseman will bring further warfare and famines along with awful plagues and diseases.
